Great looking bumper let down by weak welding

Posted by Alex on 25th Jul 2021

Looked great on my scale trail truck. Unfortunately the welds connecting the stinger tube to the main bumper body were not very strong. After a bad fall, the stinger was completely torn off at the welding joints. Did protect the front of the truck and winch however. If your purchasing for anything more (even slightly) than scale trail (class 0 / 1) I wouldn't recommend. Also on a scx10 II like chassis, clearance is that great. Crawling steep terrain often leads to the bumper catching.
