This is a simple but effective mod for you truck / crawler - it is possible to do this without even removing the rear axle. You may also want to consider replacing the bearings in the axle while carrying this out, either SCX10 Bearings or AX10 Bearings.

On the SCX10 this replaces part no AX80020. You may also want to consider upgrading the front steering C-Hubs and Knuckles while you are carrying out this modification.
