FTX KANYON BODY BRACKET POSTS (4PC)

Body Mount / Body Post Set

Body Post Set

FTX8472 - Body Post Set (plastic)

  • Plastic body post set designed for the FTX Kanyon.

  • Set includes one tall rear body mount and smaller front body mounts, allowing correct bodyshell positioning.

Rear Body Mount Installation

  • The rear body post mounts to the rear body bracket / chassis plate - FTX8471.

  • Secured using M3 x 10 mm screws - FTX-SBH044.

Front Body Mount Installation

  • The front body posts mount to the front body bracket / chassis plate - FTX8470.

  • Secured using M4 x 10 mm screws - FTX6526.

Body Bracket to Chassis Installation

  • Both front and rear body brackets (FTX8470 / FTX8471) mount to the main frame / chassis.

  • Mounted using plastic posts - FTX8481, which accept M3 threaded hardware in one end and measure 6 mm in diameter and 13 mm in length.

  • Initial fixing uses M3 x 8 mm screws - FTX6525.

  • Brackets are then secured in place with M3 x 10 mm screws - FTX-SBH044.

Bodyshell Fixing

  • The bodyshell is secured to the body posts using medium body pins - FTX6550.

  • Allows quick bodyshell removal for maintenance or battery access.

Notes

  • Body post set, brackets, screws, and body pins are supplied separately unless otherwise stated.

  • Ensure all body posts and brackets are aligned before fully tightening to prevent bodyshell stress or cracking.
