This machined metal spur gear provides increased durability over the standard plastic spur gear and is ideal when upgrading or servicing the drivetrain.

Manufacturer Upgrade Advice

According to FTX, if upgrading your Tracer’s drivetrain to feature machined metal gearing, a machined metal spur gear, or a heavy-duty centre driveshaft, all of the following parts are required to complete the upgrade:

• 1 ×FTX9776 – Centre driveshaft(replaces FTX9721)

• 1 ×FTX9777 – Metal spur gear

• 2 ×FTX9778– Metal differential gear sets

Each FTX9778 contains gears for one differential. Two sets are required to upgrade both front and rear differentials.
Metal differential gears replace FTX9726, or FTX9717 if upgrading from pre-built differentials with bearings.
