Additional Information - Futaba has a locating tab on the side and JR has rounded corners. These designs are to avoid reverse connection. With modification that can be interchanged.
Etronix Futaba 3 Lead Switch Harness ET0779
This three lead switch can be used to power an RC RX reciever and while turned off the additonal lead can be used to charge the battery.
A 3-plug switch differs from a 2-plug switch in that there is an extra lead that you can use to connect to a battery charger to charge your receiver battery.
When the switch is ‘ON’ the receiver battery is connected to the receiver and the electronics are powered.
When the switch is ‘OFF’ the receiver battery is connected to the charging lead so you can charge the battery. This means you don't have to unplug the receiver battery from the switch every time to charge it. Just turn the switch to ‘OFF’, connect the battery charger to the switch’s charging lead, and charge away.
