ETRONIX PULSE GFSK 2.4GHZ ANTENNA (ET1060)

To fit the Etronix ET1099 antenna to the ET1060 transmitter, you will need to disassemble the transmitter casing and use soldering to connect the new antenna wire to the main circuit board. 

This process requires delicate handling of small components and involves the following steps: 

Disassemble the Casing:

• Remove the screw that secures the holder on the top of the transmitter.
• Gently pull out the old antenna assembly.
• Carefully pull off the trim and dual-rate adjustment cover.
• Remove all the screws located on the side of the transmitter casing, allowing it to split in half.

Replace the Antenna:

• Locate the black antenna wire connected to the main circuit board.
• Gently de-solder or carefully bend the old wire off the board, being mindful not to damage the board or pull the wires from the battery box. The solder joints are typically very small and delicate.
• Position the new ET1099 antenna assembly in place.
• Solder the new black wire onto the designated spot on the circuit board.

Reassemble and Test:

• Carefully put the two halves of the transmitter casing back together, ensuring all wires are properly routed and not pinched.
• Secure all the screws you previously removed.
• Before operating your RC vehicle, test the transmitter and receiver operation on a workbench to confirm everything is working correctly.
